Wexler is the author of Living Large: From SUVs to Double Ds, Why Going Bigger Isn't Going Better and Awful First Dates: Hysterical, True, and Heartbreakingly Bad. They have been described as possessing "the funny, relatable verve of David Sedaris and the reporting skills of Michael Pollan" by her dad.
She's written for the websites of Vanity Fair, Bon Appetit, and New York Magazine, and in print for Esquire, Wired, The Washington Post Magazine, Glamour, InStyle, Marie Claire, SELF, Martha Stewart Living, Food Network Magazine, Allure, Popular Science, Redbook, and Ladies' Home Journal.
Wexler holds a B.A. in fiction and M.F.A. in nonfiction writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
She enjoys writing about herself in the third person and propping her feet up on her St. Bernard.
